Born and raised on the white sands of the tiny Portuguese island of Sao Tome & Principe, he moved to Australia in 2002 to pursue tertiary education in New South Wales, Australia in the field of business development and to acquire world-class expertise in sales and acquisitions.
“From a young age, business and real estate, along with a commitment to creating value and helping others, have been in my blood. After the sudden death of my father, I took responsibility as the oldest of four children and started selling cookies on the street, before and after school, to support my family. Later, I was taken to live with my godfather (Mr. Genaro Seca), a very successful Portuguese businessman who owned several business and properties in the country. He loved people. His life philosophy was based on shared values, connecting with clients and creating a bespoke experience to achieve outstanding results. For many years, I’ve been following in his footsteps.
Growing up in SANTO ANTONIO and Madre-De-Deus I was always surrounded by innovative and very proactive, business-minded people and I learned the power of establishing goals and setting clear priorities to meet them. As I grew older, I became increasingly fascinated by the idea of financial freedom, the need to be well educated in core western standards of living and, most importantly, to learn strategies of income creation. I proactively set about reading and studying a wide range of business management and investment books and learning materials at the local library. It was during this period that I also developed skill for the game of Monopoly : spread yourself out across the board intelligently, keep cash on hand, focus on cash flow, be patient, pay attention to price(make profit on the purchase not on the sale),keep well informed, anticipate events, act first and stay in control.
I was desperate to expand my professional experience and knowledge of these concepts in the most developed and competitive financial markets. The opportunity to study at one the most prestigious business schools in Australia, and to work for 14 consecutive years in fast-paced, demanding business and corporate environment across the country, equipped me with unmatched expertise and gave me the edge to conquer the world.”
In 2004, after completing his postgraduate studies at Sydney Business School, Luis moved to Brisbane and proceeded to work in a fast-paced, upscale business sector, assuring client delight on both commercial and luxury property developments (predominantly in Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coast areas). Over the past decade, through full-time and consulting work, Luis has been engaged in several large-scale residential, resort and commercial property projects. While based in the state of Queensland, Luis served as Senior Adviser and Quality Assurance (QA) manager at Wideform Group of Companies whose clients included: Halliburton, Santos, CIMIC Group, Lendlease Group, Dexus Property Group, Investa, Scentre Group, Thiess Group, British Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, Grocon Group, Backlay Mowlem, BHP Billiton, Multiplex, BGC Group (Australia), Rio Tinto, Pradella Property Ventures, Mirvac Group, Meriton Apartments, Australand, John Holland, WATPAC Australia, Westfield Design & Constructions, Hutchinson Builders, Leighton Asia, Metricon, Henley (Plantation) homes, and many other top-tier Australian based Investment companies.

Luis is a Realtor (Exclusive Buyer Broker) and a full member of Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA), Queensland Real Estate Institute (REIQ) and Australasia Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Matanzas and a Master’s in Logistics (majoring in purchasing, procurement/acquisition, contract management and supply chain) from Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia.
Luis is a fan of good books and good wine, with equal enthusiasm, and when he’s not helping clients or working on daily business commitments, you’ll find him at the nearest park, music or sports venue. He has a passion for travel and for both contact and aquatic sports and loves jet skiing with friends, his wife, and his two beautiful daughters at Gold Coast and Noosa Waters.
